Original Watercolor – Snootle in The Scream

I had reorganized my paint supplies, and thought it would be fun to create the Snootle cartoon in watercolors this week. I forgotten how difficult it was to get watercolors to do what you want, as I have been spoiled with oil paint, and the iPad. The black is Winsor and Newton professional, and the rest of the colors are Daniel Smith (which are also professional grade). I am very surprised that I could get the black paint to work like India ink. Usually watercolors dry transparent and require another layer or two. All of these watercolors are FANTASTIC and the colors POP! This experiment was tremendously fun and think that the results are fabulous! Hope you like as well!

This 8×10-inch watercolor painting is at auction on eBay starting at $9.99 plus $5.00 shipping! The link is below:

Throwback Thursday – Bit Coin

Doge bit coin

This Snootle is one of the first digital cartoons I did. As you can see, it was really difficult for me at first to get used to the digital format! It was a very rough (pun not intended) drawing! This was created on an Hewlett-Packard Touchsmart and drawn with Photoshop, I forgot the exact date, but it was around the time when the Doge-bitcoin came around. Haha.
